| Jeremy was born in London in 1962, studied
art and sculpture through Dartington Hall,
Wimbledon School of Art, Winchester School
of Art and the Royal College of Art culminating
in an MA RCA. At the age of twenty
seven, he began professional work as a
sculptor with a large development at Hammersmith
Hospital.
This was followed by a year in New Zealand
and Australia where an inspired employer
provided Jeremy with a forge to create
forms in steel.
On his return Jeremy spent two years
as a studio based artist in Shropshire
schools which culminated in punctuating
the experience by taking a Post Graduate
Certificate in Education at the University
of Huddersfield a year later. In 1996
Jeremy bought a forge and set up his workshop
in Shropshire where he has worked professionally
ever since. |
